The story behind Almaty’s leading youth football centre and its professional development of young champions.

In 2017 the Almaty City Akimat and Jas Qyran signed a public-private partnership agreement to manage and develop the Sputnik sports complex.
In 2018 a large-scale reconstruction began: the football pitches, the fitness and health complex, the stands and the rooms beneath them. The main pitch was modernised and received UEFA certification, and the centre’s infrastructure was fully renewed.
2018
On 20 October 2018 the renovated football centre officially opened, marking the start of a new stage in the development of Jas Qyran.
2021
The Jas Qyran team entered the Kazakhstan Second League championship. Today the squad is built around graduates of our centre.
2023
Since 2023 Jas Qyran teams have competed in QJ League, Kazakhstan’s premier youth football championship. The centre’s teams regularly finish in medal and top positions, with squads made up of Jas Qyran graduates.
2026
The centre continued to develop its infrastructure: the main pitch was rebuilt with FIFA Quality turf and a modern automatic irrigation system was installed, creating even better conditions for training.
Today
Today Jas Qyran is a single player development system that unites youth and professional football and builds a path from the first training sessions to the top level of the game.
Our mission
